Attention WIN XP users:
According to WinPlanet, one of the first things a WIN XP user
should do is turn on ClearType. If you have a notebook computer or a LCD
display, you will be astonished by the sharper text that Microsoft's new
typography feature delivers. "ClearType" can be activated in the display
module in the control panel or for best results visit Microsoft's web site at
www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype
and activate ClearType from there choosing among six font-display or
line-thickness options. Even CRT users are reporting an improvement in
text clarity. |
